How can you access and support the 75,000 UK STEM professionals on caring-related career breaks?
Join return to work experts STEM Returners and Women Returners, together with successful employers of returners, for a free-of-charge Returner Employer Event in Leeds, Liverpool or Birmingham on the topic of “STEM ReCharge: Supporting Returners Back to Tech and Engineering”. The events are for local tech and engineering employers and are part of STEM ReCharge, a new project funded by the Government Equality Hub. The in-person events and virtual session are now over.

At the event, we will explore the positive impact STEM candidates who have taken extended career breaks can have on talent recruitment and diversity and inclusion strategies. You will learn from the extensive experience of Women Returners and STEM Returners, who have partnered with over 180 organisations. Successful returner employers will cover the business benefits of hiring STEM professionals returning to work after a career break and how to set returners up for success in your organisation, with the following business leaders, programme managers and returners sharing their learnings:
