Have you taken a career break from engineering and are looking to return? We have an opportunity for a Support/ Maintenance Engineer/ Service Engineer to be based in Oxford.
Returners will have completed an apprenticeship in electrical, mechanical or a multi skilled engineering discipline or similar, and have prior experience in a maintenance engineering or a maintenance technician role within a manufacturing environment. You will have prior skills in fault finding and problem solving, in order to quickly and effectively overcome any equipment issues.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System
Responsible for progressing all process and plant Engineering activities and ensuring essential equipment spares are adequate to support reactive and routine maintenance planning.
Responsible for ensuring that the department quality system is implemented and that its effectiveness is maintained (e.g. training Records, closure of ERs).
Responsible for ensuring that all Engineering Support activities are conducted in compliance cGMP, Environmental, and Health policies.
Responsible for developing, maintaining and promoting good working relationship within Engineering Support, with other departments, and any external bodies.
Responsible for setting and improving the standards of all Engineering Support activities.
Identifies cost improvements that benefits the company without compromising product or service levels.
