The Engineering PMO will assist in the operational management of the engineering functions, covering a diverse range of activities that support departmental governance and contribute to the delivery of project objectives.
The skills and experience may include aspects of the following:
- To communicate key data/information (e.g. KPI’s, dashboards, reports, action plans, guidance documentation, presentations) to support the engineering and wider business communities.
- To simplify/standardise existing practices, proposing more effective ways of working and implementing innovative solutions where appropriate.
- To oversee the implementation of management standards & documents across engineering projects, ensuring a consistent approach.
- To support and coach engineering teams on management tools & processes and Safran reference systems, addressing/reporting any irregularities..
- To make recommendations to ensure continuous process improvement and the deployment of best practices, creating a culture of learning and good practice.
Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level
- Project management experience/qualification
What the Returning Professional will be getting involved with their first 12 weeks and beyond:
- As a returning professional, you may be involved in contributing to project management and performance by supporting the Project Chief Engineers (PCE’s) and Engineering Project Leads (EPL’s) to help achieve their cost, delivery & quality objectives.
