UK Defence Solutions Centre (UKDSC)
The UK Defence Solutions Centre (UKDSC) is the core of the DGP enterprise, a unique collaboration between the UK’s leading defence companies, and UK Government, including MoD, BEIS and DIT. The DGP’s core strategic mission is to transform the UK’s defence industry to equip it to deliver export driven growth in the face of intense international competition.
The UKDSC Data team is responsible for three major work strands – the UKDSC Joint Economic Data Hub (JEDHub), interactive visualisation dashboards, and an in-house web portal capability facilitating stakeholder access to the UKDSC’s outputs.
The JEDHub (www.jedhub.org) project is a joint venture with the Ministry of Defence (MOD). The online survey tool and other supporting digital products are developed and maintained by the UKDSC Data team.
Our Interactive dashboards are built utilising data from several complementary sources to provide advanced analytics including market data, investment landscaping, academic literature, patents, financial analysis, and M&A tracking (Mergers and Acquisitions). The Data team develops dashboards, ETL pipelines and processes to facilitate this output.
