Throughout our STEM Returners journey we have been delighted to see so many STEM employers recognising the business benefits of improving diversity and inclusion within their workforce.
Whilst we celebrate the successes for both clients and candidates who take part in a full STEM Returners programme, we recognise that not every company we work with is able to run one of these programmes and take on more than one returner at a time. For this reason we are absolutely delighted to launch our Supported Hire Programme which offers individual returner placements to fit our partners permanent experienced hire vacancies.
Returners will still get the same pre interview and start support, including an engineering Mentor through the Women’s Engineering Societies MentorSET programme, and companies will still be offering a 12 week placement with the opportunity of an ongoing permanent role at the end of the programme. Essentially, we are offering all the benefits of our proven returners programme, where 96% are retained in a permanent role, but on an individual basis to ensure that we are able to return as many people as possible after a career break, and help our partner companies consider diverse candidates for every opportunity.
Whilst every business wants to grow their workforce, sometimes saying goodbye to workers is unavoidable. This is why we have decided to offer an Outplacement service for our clients. Providing returners programmes and coaching people back to work puts STEM Returners in an ideal position to run an outplacement service. We will support your employees through CV creation, application, interview techniques and preparation as a mentor. We will also try to place all those being made redundant with one of our partner STEM Returner clients, or support them in their other applications.
If you are interested in any of these services then please do not hesitate to contact us for more information!
